On September 1, 2010, the Lakewood Historical Society held a talk about the history of porches in the U.S. It was attended by a large crowd at the Lakewood Library Autitorium.

  • Jean Rickert, of the Lakewood Hisotrical Society, was the hostess at the evenings event.

  • Kerrington Adams, of the Cleveland Restoration Society, was the commentator for the show on porches. He did a fine hour and a half presentation. It was received well by all in attendance.
