St. James Reopens To A Packed House

  • It was great! The bells were ringing earlier, and a trffic jam out front as everyone poured in to the 7pm start.
  • The last couple stragglers.
  • Once inside it was packed, just like the old days.
  • Dan May came in for the reopening and Mary Simon has been working on the reopening.
  • Nate Kelley speaking with Fire Chief Scott Gilman.
  • One of Lakewood's favorite priest, Father Duke, from St. Cyril Methodious.
  • Councilman from Ward 2 Tom Bullock.
  • The doors open and the clegry gets ready to walk in.
  • Priests from area churches wait to come in.
  • They light the candles.
  • Father John who was the priest when it closed was standing by.
  • In they go, and suddenly it was as if they never left.
  • So many smiling faces.

  • Another one re-opened! Good work St. James congregation.
