  • Hops used for a privacy fence.
  • Hundreds of branches like this!
  • Grapes coming in soon.
  • Anyone know what this is?
  • Other flora in Lakewood.
  • Promised a pool, like the basketball courts in Lakewood, closed for summer!
  • Ken finds the mother load of grapes and blackberries. While we sat back and injoyed the feast, soon we heard yelling from the building, "Stop! I sell those for $5.00 a pint!" We took off running!
  • Brown Squirrel up a pole, with no where to go!
  • Players can walk.
  • More of her friends from the relocation program. They assured us that Lakewood was much better than Somalia.
  • One of the Somali families brought in by the Catholic Charities with assistance from Lakewood's Health and Human Services. You might remember the story that broke on the Observation Deck.
  • Ken Warren speaks with neighbors about the fire, and their concerns.
  • Fire on South Lane.
  • Resident has repeatedly left food cooking after she leaves the apartment. I would like to point out how far back the Firemen have to go. Had this been a real fire, they would have beenb carrying hoses for almost a block!
  • Cruisn Athens.
  • LEAF Community Garden, Plove.
  • I am sure we all recognize, this area of the Emerald Canyon. Cob's Ripple is just downstream from NH Bend.
  • Lonely ride home.
  • A photo of Lakewood's Emerald Canyon. On days like this it is east to see how it got that name from the Native Americans.
  • This nifty AT&T Lightspeed installation has a nice white noise generator built in. The soothing hum can be heard from than than 30' away!
  • A look at Class Act and Silhoutte Dance and Fine Arts during the early hours of MAMA's MAdison Avenue Summer Walk.
  • AT&T told us no larger than a refrigerator. Damn, I want one of those fridges.
  • Oh!
  • By 9:30 you can see the kids have left the street with no more crowds loitering around like in the last photo.
  • Lightspeed boxes, that only look to be as tall as Ken Warren and Dan Slife. There are at least one or two inches shorter.
  • No shopping carts were harmed in the filming of these photos. Actually one was rescued.
  • At 7:00pm you can see the kids linning the streets, a huge potential for crime and mischief.
  • Lakewood Police treat them like perfect gentlemen.
  • What happened to that shopping cart thingy?
  • LCPI bring back the flowers with much better execution.
  • The Four-Car Monte. practice
  • Lakewood Police arrive in seconds, but pick the right car, but it now has different people in it!
  • LCPI bring back the flowers with much better execution.
  • Bad Day! Woman rear ends a police car on Detroit Ave.
  • As they jumped the fence we could hear them exclaim, "Hey it's to POLE LEEZE!"
  • Ken Warren finds a magic wand and thinks back to Steve Calhoun and wonders, "Could this be Dr. Puck's infamous magic wand?"
  • "Jim quick take a picture!" yeah sure?
  • No hoops! One rumor was security. Another was that with hoops,  one side would win and the other lose. For the sake of the children we had to take down the hoops.
  • Kids in the streets of Cleveland off of W25th.
  • Kids on the sidewalk in Lakewood.
  • As we approached 10-20 kids went running. Leaving behind a brand new girls bike in pieces.
  • No hoops on the courts in Old Brooklyn.
  • But strange flower beds abound in Old Brooklyn.
  • Has to be the fanciest Lightspeed Installation in the city. Only NWSL could get this done.
  • Landscaping the whole hill, rocks, concrete surround. All we asked for was underground. Thanks AT&T.
  • With a bed and a table, this would be great for homeless. I cannot imagine and Lightspeed Installation being bigger...
  • Ken Warren checks the grafitti, on the port o potty at Harrison School.
  • Bad Boys, Bad Boys what are you going to do! Police action on W25th St.
  • Much fancier Cash Cashing places than Lakewood. Open 24 hours too!
