  • LOCAL (Lakewoodwood Observer Community Advisory League) and LO crew at the start.

  • And the crew at the finish! Not bad for year 1.

  • Bob and Gary Rice play home the Lakewood Observer resident paraders for the historic first time!

  • Paul's tends the morning Tiki Coffee Bar, with curbside, orders that can be sent in on the road.

  • The area the city of Rocky River is asking Lakewood to move the dogpark to. The area is prone to flooding, and many times the water rises to this level in minutes, not hours. Those that live on the river know just how fast this can change!

  • This photo was taken nearly a day after the high water mark, two years ago. Had I known that there was talk of using this property, I could have shot hundreds of flood photos over the various years to show just how unacceptable this spot is.

  • Bad sign for county government. Doing this job this way cost the group twice as much money!

  • County waste in reform.

  • The City Of Cleveland from Pier W, with the Goodyear Blimp in the sky.

  • Chimpmunk on Detroit and Elmwood. Beep and it dances everytime!

  • Aaron and Jake Barcus with friends at Lt. Ryan Patrick Demro's going away party.

  • The Lasky clan.

  • A rare sight for Lakewood, a Louisiana Catahoula Leopard Dogue! A great breed of dog for pets and kids. Developed to hunt wild boar, and herd pigs, this pigger has many traits, one is gentleness, another is it walks like a cat!

  • Marine recruits line up Saturday morning.

  • Lakewood Senioe Health Care's 3rd Annual Dog Show. These are the winners in the talent portion of the event.

  • The event was for young and old people and dogs.

  • CCLASS was there helping and asking for donations.

  • Shelies enjoying the day.

  • Tammy Sibert far right and crew put on another fun event for their seniors, and other Lakewoodites that stopped by. Good work Lakewood Senior Healthcare Campus!

  • The Western Reserve Cup was held at The Oldest Stone House Field, Lakewood Park 07.11.10

  • As we head over to the game between The Champioship Cleveland Blues and Forest City BBC.

  • We past by the 1933 Rock to commenerate our Union Soldiers in the Civil War.

  • Once there we meet Jay "Tomahawk" Demagall, The Blues Club Captain and a hurler for the team.

  • The Western Reserve Trophy

  • Meanwhile the Akron Black Stockings were over playing the Shamrocks at the western field.

  • Baseball as it should be played on a hot summer afternoon.

  • A nice crowd sta back in the shade enjoying both games.

  • Meanwhile right over their shoulders, young skateboarders grab air and Ollies.

  • Sign polluition.

  • Free Rent!

  • Oh yeah of course, near a Uvserve Lightspeed Box!

  • These signs no matter how good the cause are getting out of hand. The entire city is littered with "real estate" style signs ghettoizing the entire city. What is particularly obnoxious is many signs in one spot, and people waving and yelling at you as you drive by!

  • While these guys are too busy texting friends to yell...

  • ... some were seen screaming at ambulances leaving a rest home on the way to the hospital. How tasteless is that! Over the weekend I counted over 250 non-realestate signs every where! Building the brand!

  • The Savannah Ferris/Paul Dugan marriage, brings together two well known names, and some well loved families.

  • cake cutting

  • I mean come on, do these kids look in love or what?

  • Savannah dances with her very proud father.

  • The blimp!

  • Sunflower showing the Fibbanoci Numbers at work in nature. Fibonacci sequence. Fibonacci is perhaps best known for a simple series of numbers, introduced in Liber abaci and later named the Fibonacci numbers in his honour. The series begins with 0 and 1. After that, use the simple rule:Add the last two numbers to get the next.

  • Again in nature.

  • LEAF Night Wednesday night on the front porch of the Lakewood Library is one of my favorites nights and things to do. Hundreds of people pulling together for quality fresh food, great conversations, and good music.

  • Ken and Kathy Haber are the recipients of this year's Tim Lasky Award for Public Service. This award was done in Tim's and his wife's Patty for all of the hard work, time, energy and just support the Laskys have given to the city. Probably the only family in the entire city that could give the Laskys a run for their money in what they have given this city are Ken and Kathy Haber. As Tim said when presenting the award. "I could list everything these two have done, but we would be here for days." Just another wonderful Lakewood Family. From left to right, Mary Anne Crampton, Ken Haber, Kathy Haber and Tim Lasky.
