  • LakewoodAlive had the group set up that was fighting to get Basketball Hoops back up around the city. It was refreshing seeing LakewoodAlive fighting for this cause. Bring back the hoops!

  • Again it was refreshing to see LakewoodAlive pushing the urban street life. Here breakdancers from Miss Donna's Silhoutte Dance Studio put on the great presentation.

  • LakewoodAlive workhorse, Shannon Strachan out walking the streets with son. Shannon is another one of those natural born leaders, that has done wonderful things for the school, library and LakewoodAlive. Maybe her day at the helm is just around the corner? Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm.

  • As I walked back to the car, it was nice walking past basketball hoops that have been missing for too long in this city. It was also nice seeing LakewoodAlive fight to bring them back. After all why should Clifton Beach be the only place with outdoor hoops!
