  • Welll it was actually the Fire Department trying out their new water rescue equipment. While many Lakewoodites are aware of the river, and the hazards, but most Lakewoodites forget we have two-and-a-half miles of rugged coastline to serve and protect.

  • Weather so bad it made them stutter.  It was such a startling report I went over to see just how close we were to flooding. Hmmmmmmm about 250' to go! Biblical!

  • A front blew in 01.13.2013 I went up and drove down I-90 and got this photo.

  • A mondern punk in downtown Lakewood. John was unawre that Lakewood was considered one of the homes of punk music. He really didn't seem to care as his bus was coming.

  • Fire this morning on Lakewood Avenue.

  • Mayor of Lakewood Michael P. Summers talks with Cleveland rock and roll and radio legened John Gorman the program director of WMMS from 1972 on, and off and on again. John is a true legend who with Denny Sanders really built WMMS into what it was known to be.

  • After Mike explained that he was the drummer in the junior high band the Darkside formed a real bond with John.

  • Lakewood Class of 71 Rock and Roll +. Green Oval, Brian Risner, head sound man for Weather Report, first 5 albums, Frank Zappa Head Sound Man Live At Roxy Tour, quit and went back to Weather Report, now working for Disney Studios, lead sound engineer for Carnival, Souns Sopranos, and more. Red Oval Tom Kelley, original DJ at WMMS, later went to LA to be drive time DJ, and was murdered. Blue Oval Steve Lausbaugh radio DJ engineer WMMS still in music working in Philadelphia, Yellow Oval Jeff Kinzbach Cleveland radio legend at WMMS.
