EC Bald Eagles Fledge

The final days of the eagle family this spring and summer. After flying off the eagles will separate until late fall, where tehy will come back to the nest for the next round of babies. This nest have seen the birth of nearly 10 Bald Eagles to the area. ©2016 Lakewood Observer, Inc.

  • Final day together? No matter it has fledged and flies!

  • Mom brings in food, and the fledgling makes it over to the nest.

  • Mom flies to a close branch

  • Baby starts flapping and hopping.

  • Parents watching.

  • Moves up on the tree.

  • Then takes off!

  • Flying right past the parents.

  • Disappearing before flying back into the tree.

  • Boy they grow up fast.
