  • Brian from Spin Cycles on Madison Ave. shows different ways to ride a bike. Like this...
  • ... and this...
  • ... and this ...
  • ... and this ...
  • ... and this ...
  • ... and this ...
  • ... and just when we started to think he would never use the seat, he called it a show. Riding wild for 20 minutes! Check out Spin Cycles. Great shop with good people that know biking.
  • A quick break when the "hostess with the mostest" Mel Page handed out popsicles to the crowd.
  • Meanwhile the older adults all said to each other I remember riding just like that.
  • Then it was time for the "Hostess with the Mostess" Mel Page to hand out popsicles to everyone whioch was much appreciated on this hot muggy day.
  • Miss Donna from Silhouette Dance Studios was there to talk with future dancers.
  • The Lakewood Police were there helping the kids in many ways. IDs, bike license, learn to ride, fun ride etc. On the right Councilwoman Mary Louise Madigan signs autographs for the young ones. Just kidding, she was filling out the paperwork.
  • Steel Valley Credit Union from Madison Ave. was there to get people registered for the rodeo.
  • The busiest gal in Lakewood Melissa Garrett having fun on a Saturday.
  • Director of Lakewood's Health and Human Service Dept. Dottie Buckon puts a helmet on a youngster. Displaying the same flair she had shone last week at Meet The Trucks.
  • Patrol Officer Rick Busi calls one of the winners from the raffle. Rick was one of the driving forces behind the idea for this event.
  • The police there would help label the bike...
  • ... show them how to ride it...
  • ... and even help get them riding. Here Officer Pat Fiorelli works with Patrol Officer Joyce.
  • Here Rick Busi applies a licence to the bike that Destiny won.
  • and than congratulates her.
  • Figures! All this time around bikes, I get ready to leave and nearly get run over by a truck! What a nice event for all. I look forward to 2011
