This is the time of year where spring concerts and musicals abound…however, in Lakewood, the students will not only perform an opera, they also wrote it themselves! The performance is tonight, May 14th, at 6:30pm in the Lincoln Elementary large gym, 15615 Clifton Blvd.
The opera, "Lost in the Kingdom of Learnotopia" was written by the third grade students. A music mentor from Opera Cleveland then helped the students put it to music.
Representatives from Opera Cleveland will be there for the performance tonight. It is a big production, the students have worked very hard, and are so proud and excited!
The parents have put in many hours designing and making all the props, costumes, and scenery.
