Lakewood Celebrates Five State Winners In The
Pta Reflections Art Competition

After competing at the school, city and district levels, five Lakewood students have gone on to earn awards at the state level of competition in the PTA Reflections Cultural Arts program.
The winners are:
Saige Rook, Lincoln, Visual Arts, Primary, Award of Merit
Evan Budzar, Lincoln, Visual Arts, Primary, Honorable Mention
Amy Ritschel, McKinley, Visual Arts, Intermediate, Honorable Mention
Renee Klann, Lincoln, Literature, Intermediate, Award of Outstanding Achievement
Andrew Elaban, Lakewood High School, Senior, Award of Outstanding Achievement
Those receiving Award of Merit and Outstanding Achievement will be acknowledged at a special Reflections Award Ceremony this month at COSI in Columbus. The award winning pieces will be displayed.
Next year, the 2008 – 2009 Reflections Art Program will mark the 40th year for the competition. To celebrate, the theme selected is "WOW." PTA encourages students to start thinking of ideas for next year!
