Harding Middle School To Host
1st Annual Veteran Recognition Program

Harding Middle School and H2O – Help To Others, a City of Lakewood Youth Volunteer Program, will be hosting the 1st Annual Harding Veteran Recognition Program on Thursday May 22, 2008. Veterans and their families, or surviving family members will be recognized during this program. They often wear their uniforms and bring service memorabilia to share with students during a breakfast gathering and program.
After the program, veterans will visit classrooms to talk with students about their experiences.
The program will be held at Harding Middle School, 16601 Madison Ave. Lakewood.
Breakfast begins at 7:30 am, followed by a
Formal program at 8:40 – 10:00 am.
Classroom visits follow the program, with
Lunch is served at 11:30 am for any veterans who stay to visit classrooms.
