The next Lakewood Family Collaborative meeting is Thursday February 24th, 1pm-2:30pm at the Lakewood YMCA.
Lakewood Collab meetings are a great way for professionals and community leaders to connect and discuss important issue facing Lakewood's families & youth. At meetings you will be able to network with other like-minded individuals dedicated to learning about programs & organizations that can help families and kids be more engaged in the Lakewood community.
At the February meeting, the Collab "Spotlight' guest will be Opportunity House. Opportunity House is a Permanent Supportive Housing program that targets 18-24 year old homeless men who have aged out of foster care and have a diagnosed disability. Opportunity House is the first program providing Permanent Supportive Housing for the
male segment of this population in Cuyahoga County. Attached is a flyer with their website and more information.
