Since January of 2008, some of my school board colleagues and I have been pushing to have unedited, full-length videos, as well as board meeting agendas and minutes, available on our website.

Now, thanks to the hard work of the Administration, the Lakewood City Schools are even more transparent.

While I have neither the face nor the voice for either videos or podcasts, this is a step in the right direction.

Glad to hear it, it's about time.

I hope though that all meetings, including emergency one are recorded. I understand the cost involved in videotaping them but I would hope that they could all at least be recorded in some manner.
