New City Public Records Access

Postby Bridget Conant » Mon Jan 27, 2020 8:29 am

Kudos to Mayor George for the effort put forth to make access to public records simple and direct.

The city website has a portal where you can request records. The date of your request is logged, as well as when and to which department the request was sent. It then shows the day the request was fulfilled, and also has a link to the documents!

It couldn’t be any easier or more transparent!

Why couldn’t this have been implemented earlier?

Oh, whoops, forgot who the previous mayor and law director were.

Sure beats Brian Essi's and Mark Kindt's numerous trips to the Post Office!

This is a serious process improvement. My recent experience is very positive!
