Relief Properties Violating Building Code And Court Orders

Postby Bridget Conant » Tue Jul 16, 2019 1:02 pm

The highly favored Relief Properties, flipping houses in Lakewood, has created a long standing eyesore on Cannon, viewable from West Clifton Blvd.

I’ve emailed my Council person and numerous neighbors have called the city on a wreck of a house that has been sitting vacant and torn up for two years.

The building department FINALLY took them to court last year. Let’s see where that got them.

Go to The municipal docket here:

and look up case 2018CRB01027.

One continuance after another!

They are not meeting court ordered deadlines.

The house looks like you’re in a ghetto.

Why is the owner allowed to get away with this??

Over one year after the original complaint, Relief Properties has still not complied with court orders.

If you go to their Facebook page and click on the profile picture, you will see a short video of the interior of this disgusting house. It definitely is a health, safety, and fire hazard.

Read the court docket - would you get this leniency? Repeated continuances?

Must be nice to have friends in high places (Mike Summers).
