Special Needs Kitten at Lakewood Shelter

Postby Catherine Butler » Mon Feb 25, 2008 1:19 pm

The Lakewood Animal Shelter has a kitten that was hurt in an accident with a recliner. She is approximately 6 weeks old and she is blind. She might have some slight neurological damage also. She is eating, drinking and using the bathroom normally. She has special needs and will need someone with experience in this area or someone with lots of patience who is willing to work with her. A home with another cat who would 'mother' her might be helpful. If you can give her a home or know someone who can, call the Lakewood Animal Shelter at 529-5020 with any questions. Adoption hours are Tuesdays and Thursday noon to 5 p.m. and Wednesdays, Fridays and Saturdays noon to 4 p.m.
