The following is about Aminopterin from the Veterinary Information Network, Inc.:

"This document was generated rapidly after the announcement of aminopterin (a rodenticide) being highly suspected as the contaminant in the recalled pet foods produced by Menu Foods."

I'm sure that the folks at VIN will be updating information. Meanwhile, pet owners are getting blood tests for their companion animals to try and find out if they have been affected.

The idea of making food for pets personally is in the news. It is followed with interviews of Veterinarians warning that this can lead to too-much protein in the animals' diets.

I'm sure commercially mass produced petfood wasn't available for most of the history of Dogs.

What did people feed their Dogs before then?
