Charitable Appliance Donations

This may be the wrong forum for this discussion but … I’ll give it a try here anywhere.

It appears that the Salvation Army does not accept donations of working refrigerators, stoves, or other appliances in spite of the fact that their website says the opposite. Does anyone know who does?

...in bound college kids...they also prefer pre-stained couches, arm chairs with cup holders and slightly used hard hats with liquid dispensing straws.

I learned that Stella Maris takes appliances and puts them to good use.
