Where to find help for a neighbor in these holidays

Postby Mark Crnolatas » Mon Dec 17, 2007 6:18 am

We have a neighbor family who is in the in-between time of being out of work, and yet to receive any help ie: unemployment, food stamps etc.
The timing is obviously not very good, so if anyone knows where I could point them to where they could get some clothing, toys. etc., for this holiday time, I'm sure it would be appreciated.

We recommended a couple of places, but those do require some amount of money.

Lakewood Christian Service Center.
1412 Marlowe Ave
Cleveland, OH 44107
Phone: (216) 226-6466

They have people and organizations that sponsor families through them for the holidays. It may be too late to be specifically assigned a sponsor, but they may still be able to help.
