Summer Kick Off Walk for Mama

Postby Justine Cooper » Fri May 25, 2007 7:29 am

The spring walk has been changed to a summer kick off walk! It is scheduled for June 16th, a Saturday from 12-5. All businesses at last meeting will be mentioned in this Tues. paper as part of Mama and the walk, but only the incentives given by now will be in this edition. I have only received two thus far.

The article must be submitted today due to the long holiday weekend. Any incentives that come in after will be in next addition. All participating members start asking your neighbors if they are participating and to email here in time if they are. This includes cash raffle and incentive.

I won't lie, I was incredibly disappointed with the turnout after dropping off 25 fliers plus Jim's handful. The core group is formed and hopefully can be the catalyst for the change that Madison Ave. needs. We are all equally busy and dedicated enough to show up to do this and I hope that others will get on board and realize the potential that this project has. Teamwork builds more mountains than a single hand for sure.
