Good eye.
Classic case of give them an inch, and they will enlarge it to a refrigerator, to two refrigerators to two refrigerators and a beer meister, to two refrigerators and a beer meister, and a generator.
Until we end up with all of that and three trucks powering it!

There's one of those on clifton too...and every time I drive by it in the middle of the night theres a van parked next to it and it's completely lit up.

Sounds like someone's been listening to Coast To Coast way too much...
I should speak for myself...I listen to it religiously, and now my fiancee listens as well, haha!

Maybe if there are a couple of these boxes on every street corner and every few hundred feet, they'll spruce up the city?

Musician, and thought I saw a "Occupied" sign on one of those last night but it might have been an optical illusion.

Another one going up at Wyandotte & Madison, as I type this.
Looks like they're getting help from Hoffman Estates, IL...look closely at the AT&T Truck!

Is there any current info available as to when this Lightspeed service will be available and exactly what it offers?

I think it offers big ugly boxes that are perfect canvases for graffiti "artists" and add to the appeal of our inner-ring suburb, other than that who knows.

What's the big deal about these boxes? Once they begin to rust, graffiti is sprayed on, garbage blows up against them and sits, they'll be camouflaged and you won't ever see them! They'll blend right into the run down rental or house that sits behind them.
Just kidding. Don't get into an uproar, I'm just kidding... kinda They are ugly though.
