Today, on a warm summer day, some people gathered to finally cut the ribbon on the improvements to Fire Station #2, which just celebrated its hundredth birthday last year!
A fun gathering in the sun, for a project that turned out great!
But first a couple words of thanks by Fire Chief Timothy Dunphy, and Mayor Meghan George.
Then outside where they had chosen The Jaws of Life to cut the ribbon.
Like butter!

Job well done to everyone in the City Hall that worked on this project. Kudos, to the Mayor and City Council.
And a big thank you to Lakewood Fire Department, all of you.
peace/love
