Today a woman was attacked by 5 teens around 10 am. No weapon was involved.
What follows are bits and pieces of the police calls, as Lakewood Police had 3 in custody at the 10 minute mark, and all 5 in custody in 90 minutes.

10:09- 14555 Madison Bunts area. Female attacked by 4 males, bleeding from the head.
"Males Jumped the fence by the yellow house, 4 males running towards Athens."
"Girl was able to take a photo of them though blurry."
10:12 - Police box off the area, at this point they are 90% chance they will be caught.
Described as young teens, should be in school, had been in front of the Waverly drinking slurpies.
10:15 - medics arrive.
People all around the area were calling in locations to the police and descriptions. A real community effort.
The city cameras showed 5 of them, with amazingly accurate descriptions of each of them.
They ran into a driveway on Leonard and Belle.
House on Belle front door wide open Police already had the area surrounded. House cleared declared, “not in play.” “Wait I hear movement in the house”
On Belle, checking shed.
“Running west get cars to Warren right now!” “Going south now!” “Just went over a fence on Leonard”
“All five running together.” “Behind the blue house.” out of breath officer.
“We have two males behind house on Armin.” “One just jumped over the roof and the fence!” “They are coming out on Madison, jumping the fence by the animal hospital.”
“Shorter male dressed in all black.”
10:28 “Came out on Madison ran behind the Waverly.”
At this point 3 are in custody, and they are going house by house, closing down the box.
10:35 - Going backyard by backyard.
10:40 - Open Garage Door on Warren.
10:45 - Medic 1 Back in Service.
10:48 - Call made for a dog.
10:56 - Let’s get together and see who all we have caught.
10:59 - Male walking down sidewalk in all black.
11:12 - One was on top of a garage, now running south on Warren to Leonard.
11:16 - People yelling he is running east on Leonard.
11:18 - “This is camo guy.”
11:19 - “We got him.” “We have 4 of 5!”
11:20 - Residents just saw the other one.
11:22 - “We have him, the 5th male on Armin.”
Once the box is formed, it is just a matter of time.
