We might need some clarification in the subject line here. I don't think the original plan was to take down St. Clement's church but to build on the back parking lot. I haven't been over there yet today, but what I guess is going on is they are taking down the rectory building behind thie church.

the church and rectory are remaining.
The school buildings are being demolished.
some town homes are going up.
