Statement from Councilman Daniel J. O'Malley on Unopposed Election
Incumbent councilman Daniel J. O'Malley was the only candidate to file to run for Ward 4's City Council seat by Wednesday's deadline. He issued the following statement:
"I continue to be grateful to my fellow Ward 4 residents for the confidence they have placed in me to represent them on city council. While I am relieved and fortunate to not have opposition for re-election, I will not be taking my position for granted. I plan to continue going door-to-door and meeting with residents - as I have during my entire first term - to engage neighbors around the issues impacting our community.
"I want to thank my family, friends, neighbors, and others who have been so supportive as I've prepared for re-election. I will not let you down."
