The river's edge where the first body was spotted by a kayaker.

The police have no new leads while the westside is abuzz with rumors. Did they know each other? What happened?

Police say no need to worry.

Yet today they closed off the area today, a week later, and had an ambulance and processing truck at the scene?

Another body? Police are not talking.

Farther under the bridge was another ambulance and two police cars.

This section of the park was opened for nearly a week before it was shut down again today.

Stay tuned...

Police dogs were working the area directly under the Lorain Bridge today, between the parking lot and bike path.

As the tributes come in and the memorial grows.

Yesterday when I mentioned Police were back at the scene and looking for something.

I found out last night they were doing a line search for the weapon used in the double murder.

Those close to the case believe they have a suspect, and it will only be a matter of time before they are brought in for questioning.

From the way this story is moving, I think the announcement will come in the next 24 hours.

The area just west of the double homicide where police had gridded off, and were also checking with dogs.

Today, with the exception of the memorial, the area returned to one of the most beautiful calming areas of the Metro Parks.

Police and FBI still looking for leads and information in the double homicide in Rocky River Metro Parks on June 4th. While they had some info originally, that has not panned out at this time, and are looking for anyone that saw anything that day. Even if you do not remember anything, and you drove by, call 440.331.5219, or Crime Stoppers at 216.252.7463

Scene of the double murder in Rocky River Reservation. Police and FBI are still looking for leads. The murder happened just before rush hour. In this heavily traveled section of Metro Parks it seems odd, no one saw anything.

Recent additions to the scene of the crime.

I’m sure they have access to cell phone call and text records, and social media accounts.

If they still don’t have a lead, that makes me wonder if it was a targeted killing or a random crime of opportunity.

I think the FBI and Metroparks Police need to be more forthcoming on the truth.

Should I worry being in the Metropark?

I see a lot of people running and walking alone, often in less conspicuous areas. If there’s a killer out there, we need to know.

Lost in the slew of other news was the first year anniversary of the double homicide of Kate Brown and Cornell Sledge in Metro Parks.

Police are still looking for information.
