Lakewood Loses A Famous Visitor/Entertainer

Postby Jim O'Bryan » Tue May 21, 2019 8:34 pm

Jake Black aka Reverend D. Wayne Love, of the band Alabama 3 died today. Alabama 3 is best known for creating the theme song for "The Sopranos" "Woke Up This Morning. Which started off every episode.

Alabama 3, has been working with Lakewood born, John Malm, original manager of Nine Inch Nails, among other acts. On a new album and an American tour potentially. As such members including Jake have been in and around Lakewood.

On the night James james Gandolfini, on "The Sopranos" died June 19, 2013. They threw a FREE impromptu show at The Phantasy, that was amazing.
