MARK KINDT

He clearly meets the criteria set forth by Tristan Radar’s proposal.

Thank you for your thoughtful and kind comment.

These duties are more fittingly the role of younger citizens.

It is their time now.

May they rise to the expectations of the occasion.

Tom- I am humbled and appreciate your "nomination". However, I think Mark Kindt's age standard is especially relevant.

The proposal also has laudable diversity goals that focus on inclusion.

In keeping with the larger dialogue about Northeast Ohio and its paucity of achievement, a younger generation of leaders needs to be at the fore now.

It is their time. They cannot afford more of our mistakes at their expense.

Mr. Kindt, I'm at a loss.

Are we talking Sam O'Leary, young?

Are we talking Tom Bullock, young?

John Litten, young?

That bastion of truth and transparency, Dan O'Malley, young?

Last time I looked it was Essi, O'Bryan, Call, Conant, yourself and others, who battled for years, who insisted on truth and transparency and were willing to pay the price. People who stood up and took a lot of crap while all that youth stood down and did nothing. This not an age thing, I cede nothing to youth on this issue. This is an integrity thing. You either have it or you don't.

Mr. Buckley,

O’Leary and Bullock are old guys in that old broom closet at city hall. They are standing looking in the past as we move forward.

I feel like we are in the prime of our “yoot”

Mr. Kindt is as spry as any millennial and has the wisdom of Lincoln. Mr. Call is like a 16 year old with tenacity and spunk yet like Ben Franklin.

Happy New Year!

Without the help of young Theodore Roosevelt (aka Brian Essi), I would not have been able to write the essays that I wrote here over the past two years. Mr. Essi is just like that fabled "steam engine in trousers"! He continues his most effective work.

Happy New Year to All.

All of this leads us to an interesting conclusion and Observation.

Everyone suggested has spent three years pointing out what is hundreds of ethical issues and problems.

When they were pointed out. City Hall merely lied, intimidated, and mislead. When it was pointed out that City was lying yet again. They merely filed false police reports, SLAPP lawsuits and intimidation. When that was pointed out, City Hall lied, hid and destroyed documents, lies to the courts, and stonewalled.

To this day, City Hall with 50% new council, and a young man dreaming of being Mayor, continue to be part of the big cover-up of PUBLIC DOCUMENTS.

Who, would these thugs at city hall ever answer too.

To Lakewood residents...
If the story the Mayor of Lakewood, Law Director Butler, Finance Director Jenn Pae, and the sycophants were telling the truth, they would release the documents, not hide them and lie about them.

Just how bad were their actions? One would have to think criminal. After all, why continue to hide documents over a deal that is done, that cannot be undone?

This is what I do not understand about the new Council members, heal the city, wash your hands of this nightmare. Publicly demand the release of all documents and that the Ohio State Ethics and Auditor come in. New Council members should be demanding that every day, at every meeting.
