Dead Body Found In Car East Of Lakewood Park

A 38-year-old woman's body was found in a car in a driveway, in the car just east of Lakewood Park. She was from Cleveland.

Unconfirmed report from our FB Page: She did not live there. She had no association with the residents of that home. She was alive and asked resident for directions very late 1:30p Friday evening--she appeared under the influence of something. She eventually climbed into an unlocked car in driveway and was found dead this evening in that car that was parked in their driveway. Had no connection with the house she was found at.

Everything is still under investigation however the woman was from Cleveland.

No more information until, next of kin found and notified, and the death is investigated.

There was also a fatal overdose earlier this afternoon.

Jim:
I can't believe that you are reporting two deaths in one day about 8 blocks apart-- this person in the car by the park and the fellow that was killed by the train on Cranford. The drug epidemic doesn't stop at W.117th St.

John

Actually three in one day, and the day isn't over.

From what I have been seeing is some really crazy stuff coming out of Lorain. One person I was speaking with said stronger than Fentanyl, which is insane.

It is also rendering NarCan ineffective.

Drugs know no border and generally are abused in area of wealth, but also covered up in areas of wealth.

Deaths and overdoses had slowed a bit, now it is spiking again.

It is all just tragic. A waste of so many lives, so many resources, and so many people.

So, are both of these deaths drug-related? Did the person in the car live in the house where they were found?

Amy

Th only one confirmed drug related is the actual overdose.

The train death and the one in the car are being investigated.

The 38-yearold woman did not live at that address, she lived in Cleveland. The residents reported she came to their door asking for directions and was confused Friday night, and left. Yesterday afternoon they found her dead in one of their cars.

Everything is being investigated.
