Storm Damage From 9.21.2018

Postby Jim O'Bryan » Sat Sep 22, 2018 8:40 am

Yesterday around 4pm a couple small lines of powerful storms blew through Lakewood. Not much rain, but the wind was pretty high.

In a backyard on Lake Ave. the wind took the top off of a tree moved 30' and "planted" it again.

Damaging some items in the backyard.

The owner had just gotten out of his car, and was walking in the house when he heard a "BANG!"

It certainly was large enough and heavy enough to kill someone.

As you can imagine, coming from 60' up it would have been a killer.

In storms, be safe.
