For Those Planning On Fighting Property Increases

Postby Jim O'Bryan » Mon Aug 06, 2018 4:35 pm

For those of you upset with recent property evaluation increases, please do the following...

1) Take in property evaluation for Lakewood Hospital ($1.00)

2) Take in property evaluation for McKinley School ($1.00)

3) Take in property evaluation for School Board Building ($100.00)

4) Take in property evaluation for Hillard Theater ($0.00)

5) Hire the person that evaluated these properties, perhaps Bridget has name and number.

You should do OK.

Maybe even better than the Mayor and some of his friends single digit increases.

I mean if this property is worth less than the cost of this postcard ($1.25) how much could your house really be worth?

Do you really believe that your house is worth more than these properties with professional appraisals and approved by City Council and the School Board?

This is a strong contender for "Post of the Year".

Based on the innovative "Mike Summers Property Appraisal System", my house is valued at four cents!

Municipal reform means ending giveaways and land grabs of public assets.

Mr. O'Bryan, thank you for this powerful visual commentary.
