We always thought it would be more interesting and important to know why someone
liked something. Facebook and others like build on peer pressure, not logic, not
communication. If there is one thing this city has enough of already is baseless peer pressure.
We felt "like" buttons are low bars in communication. "Like" training wheels.
But the truth is, one was added a year ago, and it is still here.
