Beck Annex Comes Tumbling Down

The Beck Center Annex, which was Chester's Market at one time is under the wrecking ball.

This morning started the physical tear down of the structure, to make room for a park.

It broke my heart that the massive Natasha Turovsky print was not saved.

Up next more green space.

I happened to drive past there just a couple hours ago, and was surprised to be the destruction.

Is this to be a city park? I assumed, that Beck owned the property.

Or, a park on property owned by Beck Center?
(Which would be weird for them to tear down their own building.)
