DESIGNING AN APPROPRIATE ADDITION FOR AN OLD HOUSE
Planning an addition for an older home can be tricky. The Cleveland Restoration Society’s Kerry Adams will outline the important elements to consider when adding on and what to expect throughout the project.

Crime isn’t funny but crime fiction can be hilarious. Enjoy light refreshments prepared from mystery recipes as we welcome an expert who has had her ribs tickled by the best. From ditzy bounty hunters to nosy innkeepers, we’ll laugh our way through a murderer’s row of cracked-up crime stoppers.

LPL'S WEB SITE FOCUS: Lakewood Lore

These columns by Dan Chabek began as a series in 1989 to commemorate the 100th anniversary of Lakewood's founding. They appeared in the Lakewood Sun Post, a Sun Newspaper, under the heading Lakewood Lore.

Dan Chabek was a reporter for the former Cleveland Press and a public relations representative for the Ford Motor Company prior to his retirement in 1980. He also served as a trustee of the Lakewood Historical Society. Mr. Chabek passed away January 29, 2008
