SUNDAY WITH THE FRIENDS: Jeff Sherman -- Looping Guitar

Guitarist Jeff Sherman uses to digital looping technology to play multiple parts, live and in real time. Vintage pop, classic rock, blues and country come together for an unforgettable musical whole.

Special Friday Performances - Let's Get Silly with Capt'n Willie

Every other Friday during our summer programming, we will feature a fun and exciting performer who will entertain the whole family. Seating is limited, and the doors will open fifteen minutes prior to the performance. Back by popular demand, our favorite pirate Capt'n Willie will help us round out our summer's entertainment by telling fun stories, dancing, and walking the plank.
3 pm – 4 pm in the Main Library Multipurpose Room

The City of Lakewood and the Lakewood Heritage Advisory Board presented Historic Preservation Awards to four homeowners and businesses at the Lakewood City Council meeting on Monday, May 19, 2008. The Historic Preservation Awards Program was instituted to honor exemplary projects that have contributed to improving the quality of life in the City of Lakewood through the preservation of our historical architectural resources.
