My 4 unit property in Fairview Park, 2 storefronts down, 2 residential apartments up. The residential units each have a light switch for the hall ways, Yet I have a separate meter for the hallways, what? the residential occupants have control over it? for years I got a separate bill for the hall ways? It was always between $4.00 or $6.00 a month. Then the Illuminating Co. changed it from residential to commercial, now it is $50, or $60.00 a month? what? from $50 or $60 bucks a year, it Went to $500 or $600 a year, WHAT?
my APARTMENT IN Lakewood, fridge, lights, TV, internet, furnace, garage door opener, radios, exhaust fan in the bath, and occasionally, a vibrator, for all that, MY BILL IS $45.00 A MONTH.
How could hallways cost more to run than a whole apartment?
