Rufus 2010-2017

Postby jackie f taylor » Sat Jun 17, 2017 7:03 pm

Rufus, a rescue dog, he actually saved me, so much more than I saved him, maybe not in his opinion, we were great together, the best attentive buddy ever. Made my life so full and complete, always at my side, always involved with everything, walks at 3:00 am in the morning, exploring the neighborhood, checking out who had been by before, he loved busting bubbles on the balcony. such a personality, look at that expression. I will have a hole in my heart as big as the moon, since he mooned me many many times, though not on purpose, just nature. Rufus, God Speed.

Condolences—it feels a bit like a member of the Observation Deck community has gone.

With so much negative news on the LO, I thought I'd lighten it up a bit.

Rufus;
2010-2017

A rescue dog, thrown onto my doorstep 5 years ago, like an abandoned baby,
nothing better has happened since.
a prince he was, what a pal, what a sweetheart, such a good boy dog,
loving, caring, supporting, entertaining, protective, so silly in his ways,
my shadow, my companion, my buddie, my rescue my savior,
he gave so much to my life,
I gotta pea, I'm hungry, I want to go too.
as with all our 4 legged friends,
not only a pet, but a family member,
may another refuge rescue me.

My heart breaks for you, Jackie.

Run, Rufus, run.

"So, let's make the most of this beautiful day.
Since we're together we might as well say:
Would you be mine? Could you be mine?
Won't you be my neighbor?"
