Katie and I looked on the back page of the recent edition of “The Lakewood Observer” and noticed an advertisement from Great Gardens LTD at 14235 Detroit Avenue for “ecorondack” chairs. So we stopped by and plan on supporting a local business that is advertising in "The Lakewood Observer" and has a great product.

A sample is below.

We are now debating over the color selection.

Stop by Great Gardens LTD or visit http://www.ecorondack.com!

Our chairs have arrived and the customer service was wonderful. Thank you, Chris!

It is always good to support a local business – especially one that is advertising in "The Lakewood Observer."

Well, I knew it had to be either black or white.

Enjoy.

Nice!

We wanted the Stephen Davis limited edition color template, but they were sold out.

Yikes! Never seen that blown up.

The Stephen Davis Early 70's Ohio University Limited Edition colors would go perfectly on any porch in Athens, Ohio, or in my yard. Maybe not so much with your Ohio State University scarlet and gray house on conservative Belle Avenue.

You got the kid-proof color. Won't show dirt!

"'What is in a tube of black paint?' [B]lack is a color when you are referring to the color of pigments and the coloring agents of tangible objects." http://www.colormatters.com/vis_bk_white.html.

Jim,

You and I have had this graphics-trade conversation before.

Wikipedia wrote:Black is the color of objects that do not emit or reflect light in any part of the visible spectrum; they absorb all such frequencies of light.

The Wikipedia description is consistent with our conversations. Oddly, it doesn't explain why you can see your reflection in a black car.

Wikipedia also wrote:Although black is sometimes described as an "achromatic", or hueless, color, in practice it can be considered a color, as in expressions like "black cat" or "black paint".

Hence, Matt's black chair. Also, the Pittsburgh Steelers' black/gold/white uniforms are not described as not-a-color/gold/all-colors.
