Many vegans are not very healthy.

I'm prescribing one egg fried in a teaspoon of butter, at least 5 days a week.

I'm an octo lacto vegetarian which means that we do eat eggs and dairy. You do have to be more careful when you have a vegan life style to supplement your diet with vitamins or to be very careful to get your vitamins from your food by selecting carefully. Since we had children and like to travel and eat out the vegan diet was too limiting for us - although I applaud people who are doing that.

You can purchase free range chicken eggs which hopefully offers better treatment to chickens. Organic milk is also available.
