The last year or two they'd been showing films on Thursdays. Do you know if they stopped doing that?

Their calendar is amazingly packed thanks to Scott who takes care of the scheduling. I'm usually only there during day so don't remember the regular schedule. However, these email notices from them are new and I just got another with their latest schedule. They do have the Thursday movie nights. Here is the info for this week:

Thu 1/27, 8pm: Movie Night w/ Jake Griswold

The dark side of the music industry. Music, madness, and the quest for the ultimate rock'n'roll power trip.
First up is "Payday".
"Payday" (1973)
A cynical look at the life of a not so nice country-western singer, Maury Dann - played by Rip Torn in one of his most memorable performances.http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0069067

"Let it Rock" aka "White Star" (1983)

A rock music reporter and his view of the angry excited punk generation.

Watch the "Let it Rock" trailer, it's mindblowing!

WCSB Deejay & Music Director Jake "Throbbing" Griswold
screens movies at bela dubby every 4th Thursday.
