Due To COVID-19, Public Access At City Meetings May Be Restricted
March 13, 2020
Pursuant to Governor Mike DeWine’s declared State of Emergency, please be advised that public access at city meetings may be restricted. Any meeting that in-person attendance is restricted will be live streamed on the City of Lakewood website and will be recorded. Those recordings will be available on the city’s website after the meeting.
New Polling Location For Some Ward 3 Residents for March 17th Primary
March 13, 2020
If you are a Ward 3 Lakewood resident who normally votes at the Westerly Apartment Complex, your polling location been moved to Garfield Middle School, 13114 Detroit Avenue for the March 17th primary.
This applies to Precinct 3E (southern portions of Giel & Manor Park, Westerly Complex, Bloom at Lakewood, etc. – See photo to right).
Per Cuyahoga County Board of Elections, according to the Directive 2020-03 issued March 9, 2020, Boards of Elections have been directed to relocate any polling locations located in residential senior citizen facilities as a security measure for the coronavirus.
