Is The New Clinic Facility In Lakewood Designed To Fail?

The Clinic facilities on Detroit by 117th and on Madison will close and the doctors transferred to the new building on Detroit and Belle. So what have we gained? Nothing?
The new facility will charge a facility fee.
The City will be required to provide parking for the Clinic building. If that parking is ground level all the left over land will be used for parking. If City provided parking is to be in the current garages who will pay for the millions in necessary repairs?
The new facility will be much smaller than the Clinic in Brunswick and will offer very limited services.
The facility will have very few doctors and no specialists.
The new facility will be hemmed in and by impossible to expand.
Look for it to close in a few years. This Clinics proposal is not a plan for health care in Lakewood. It is a temporary fix designed to keep people quiet for the next two years.
This is a real fiasco.
