Owwwwww Look! New Baby On The Way!
AGS and the Observer Family of community owned media is pleased to report
another community joining the family.
We will call it Euclid.
Euclid has been starving for a paper since the Sun Papers pulled out and said, it just
was not worth their effort. Over a decade ago there was a Euclid Observer that had its
fill of controversy and issues.
I am pleased that after nine months of negotiations with City Hall, the Chamber of
Commerce, the Schools, the libraries, and the old owners to bring the Euclid Observer
back with a whole new feel, and whole new agenda of citizen journalism.
Everyone in Lakewood should be as proud as I am.
Together we are making history, and changing the ways people see their cities, and get
information.
Thank you everyone.
Special thanks as always to the Mayor FitzGerald, and some members of the Lakewood
school board, LPL's director Jim Crawford, the staff of the Collinwood Observer, the
Cleveland Clinic, the new publishers John Copic, and Marvin Owens, Betsy Voinovich and
my fabulous board of directors.
Stephen, let's break out those cigars!

Looks like dad!
Delivered at noon today, Earth Day on recylced paper with soybean ink!
Everyone connected with the Observer project should have pride in this launch. Once
again Lakewood sets the tone for what others are doing and copying.
We are doing it together, and people are noticing.
To my posse at AGS and the other Observers we are really getting this down to a science.
Up and going in under two months. To everyone at the Collinwood Observer that assisted
thank you. Especially Betsy Voinovich, John Copic and Dr. Marvin Owens.
To my staff at the Lakewood Observer, including Margaret Brinich, Maggie Fraley, my
friend Mel Page who has moved on to other projects, and of course my wife. Thank
you for covering for me while away from the office.
Our next project is a multi-national publication. Should be live in about two weeks!
Stay tuned.
