Teen Dating Violence Awareness and Prevention Month, February 2011

The month of February has been declared “National Teen Dating Violence Awareness and Prevention Month”. For this month, the Domestic Violence Center (DVC) is proud to present “RESPECT” Teen Month 2011! DVC is educating the community’s teens about healthy relationships and promoting the idea of respect by holding several awareness raising activities throughout the month. Don’t miss these great events!

Wednesday, February 2nd ● 87 West Wine Bar ● 7pm-9pm
We kick-off of "RESPECT" Month at 87 West Wine Bar in Crocker Park (21 years old and up only). Enjoy an array of delicious appetizers as well as an outstanding selection of wine and beer (cash bar for all other alcoholic beverages). Bid on auction items and enjoy a great evening as we help raise awareness of Teen Dating Violence and Abuse!

Saturday, February 5th ● RESPECT Night at the Q ● 7:30pm tipoff
Get your tickets now to watch the Cleveland Cavaliers take on the Portland Trailblazers at Quicken Loans Arena. The arena will be lit up with purple as each guest will receive a purple glow stick upon entering. Come watch as Teen Leaders from the Cleveland area are recognized during pregame for being outstanding peer leaders! Help us bring awareness to the community about Teen Dating Violence with a great night at the Q!

Friday, February 18th ● Nordstrom Teen Fashion Show ● 6pm-9pm

Experience Fashion Week in Cleveland at Nordstrom in Beachwood Mall! Register early and reserve V.I.P. seats! V.I.P. tickets include a buffet dinner at the fantastic Nordstrom Café, reserved seating, and a goodie bag from Nordstrom!

At this event there will be pictures to take home, exciting entertainment and fun with hair tinseling, air brushing, tarot card readings and more! Be the first to see what's hot for the spring and summer and get a jump start on your shopping at this exclusive teen event.
