Hey Mayor Where Is Our $70 Million?

Postby Bill Call » Sat Sep 27, 2008 2:18 pm

It seems the Feds are going to give the Tampa area $70 million to help prop up home prices:

I have given up on the idea that goverments should livewithin its means so I won't criticize this plan. Since it is now the governments role to insure 10% annual increases in property values I just want to say:

Hey!!! What about us!! Where's our cash!!! Denis, are you falling down on the job again? Where is OUR piece of the action? WHAT ABOUT ME??? AIN'T I A VICTIM TOO??? MY HOUSE WENT DOWN IN VALUE!!! WHAT'S THE GOVERNMENT GONNA DO ABOUT THAT??

Mayor, you had better act now before all the money is gone!!!!

Bill

The inactivity might be a hint that he is going to take the suggestions of some local realtors and make Clifton Beach public for Lakewood residents.

These realtors figured that it would add 10%-20% to the price of every home in Lakewood.

Now tell me that would not make Lakewood, clean, safe, fun!
