Fitzgerald Adopts George Plan for Lakewood

Observers---

I just received a campaign piece from the Fitzgerald campaign. It includes a list of 10 items that Ed would like to see implemented. Well Ed---- Good News!!!!!

Each and every one of those items is being implemented by Mayor George or have been projects of his during his 16 years on council.

The only thing you missed was the extensive street, sewer, and water main reconstruction that is benefiting our residents (with no assessments to the homeowner). WAIT !!!!! Maybe the reason you didn't add that was because you and your Republican pal Ryan Demro voted AGAINST all of the street improvement projects.

And finally, I've known Tom George for a long time. Tom is my friend. And in all those years I never, ever heard him accuse someone of being
DARE I SAY IT---- a pet hater!!!

And I could claim half of George's ideas and plans were stolen from Sinagra...there's only so much you can plan to do as mayor of a city. :)

So if I vote for Ed, I get the best of George as well? Awesome, thanks!

Stan,

You have been involved in the George (Observer) PR campaign of distortion from Day One. I did not vote against every street reconstruction project and you know it. In fact, I fought hard for many streets in Ward 2 to be added to the list. Ask the residents of Rosalie and Woodward. Stop lying.

Ryan

Now you stop lying.

PLEASE STOP LYING.

George (Observer) PR campaign!

What on earth are you talking about!

The 2nd issue of the paper we offered every council person, a place to put up their stories, spin, and news of their WARD. Only a couple even tried, you, one. ONCE, a photo of you at the Indians!

You have been on the cover more than any other political offical.

You had more ads, disguised as articles than any other candidate.

To paraphrase Dan Akroyd "Ryan Patrick Demro you ignornat ..."

To quote Ryan Patrick Demro, "At least go out with some class."

Unbelieveable.

Jim,

Keep trying to explain it away. Be ready to write the "Welcome Mayor FitzGerald" article and lick you chops.

Ryan

I can live with the vote of Lakewood residents whatever it is?

But I do appreciate your concern.

political signs

Is it my imagination or did Ed Fitzgerald's political signs disappear. All of a sudden they are gone from my neighborhood. Did he pull out of the campaign or did he lose supporters?

Fitzgerald mentioned on another site that a bunch were getting stolen right around the primary so they pulled the rest, or most of them. They plan on putting them all out again this weekend.

Here's his quote:
Ed Fitzgerald wrote:After the primary, quite a few of our signs started disappearing, for whatever reason. Over 250 of them ended up missing.

We decided to take most of those remaining down, and replace them this weekend.

Thanks for the support.

Search for truth (election)

Idea. With the dirty laundry being kicked about, it feels like the truth (and facts ) are taking a holiday. I'd like to see a bright impartial group sift through the muck & FIND THE TRUTH. Let's review this mess pre & post election & give prizes for best spin & least able to separate fact from fiction. I'm convinced I'll here a lot of (candidates saying) " I personally didn't authorize that piece of fiction"
I'm seeing some people take the stand that anythings fair if it gets their horse to the finish line. Focus people, SHOW SOME RESPECT FOR THE TRUTH & the residents. Unless your just another pirate shaking down the citizens for a couple pieces of silver.
That's just my opinion.

Pat--- Actually, the Ohio Elections Commission will be doing just that. This campaign has indeed been a threshold campaign. This is the first time in Lakewood's proud history that a campaign has been cited for probable violations, in this case out right lying, by the election's panel in its recommendations to the commission.

Yeah, right and George's campaign is free of lies or misrepresentations. Sure.
