| I cannot even finish reading the paper without commenting on Ronald Ciancutti's article. He is like a breath of fresh air during our big chill! I may get backlash for saying this, but it seems so rare to listen to a man write so eloquently on issues such as romance. I will admit, romance has been on the wayside since our two youngest were born. But it doesn't mean that it isn't missed. We actually talk about the future while daydreaming about having more time for romance! Or we pull out our honeymoon pictures saying "look how happy and young we look!" I really want to thank you, Ron, for opening your soul to remind us what real beauty is, to what really matters, to what love really looks like, from the back of a pick-up truck. You really did warm my soul. And I do have to add, even though the romance is on a hold for us right now, for me what melts my heart and keeps me in for the long haul is watching the moments my husband has with our kids. Hands down I will take those moments, watching them giggle with him or play "tear up", over flowers or candy any day. I watched one of those moments while reading your article and my soul warmed while my eyes watered! Thank you for your contribution to this paper and to people's souls! |
