Coping with the Holidays
3:00 PM - 4:00 PM
Healing During the Holidays
The holidays are a special time of year where family and friends come together in celebration and tradition.
It can also be a poignant reminder of a loved one who has passed away. Often we find ourselves going through the motions of the holiday celebrations just to get through it and avoid the emotions that might come forth or we might decide it is just too painful and avoid any festivities altogether.
However, the holidays can also be a time of hope, offering us opportunities and tools to heal from our loss. Holy Family Hospice wants to help the healing process by offering support and tips on how to cope with the holidays while grieving the loss of a loved one.

Location:
St. Angela Merici Parish
20970 Lorain Rd.

Y-Haven Theatre Project: Father's Watch
7:00 PM
Onstage at Cleveland Public Theatre November 7-10, 2019, at 7:00pm (Thu/Fri) and 3:00pm (Sun). The one-weekend production at CPT is followed be free performances in the community.

The Y-Haven Theatre Project is a 21-year partnership between Cleveland Public Theatre and Y-Haven, a branch of the Greater Cleveland YMCA. Y-Haven is a transitional housing facility for formerly homeless men recovering from substance abuse and mental health challenges. Every year, CPT collaborates with the clients of Y-Haven to create an original theatre production, performed by the men and based on their life stories. The Y-Haven Theatre Project captures an authenticity and emotional power as the cast shares their true-to-life experiences often hidden from the world. This year, CPT and Y-Haven present Father's Watch, a play asking us, "If your past wasn't what you thought it was, would that change who you are? Would it change where you're going?" Father’s Watch was developed under the guidance of CPT Education Manager Adam Seeholzer, Assistant Director Leonard Goff, and CPT Premiere Fellow Les Hunter, with set, props, and costumes designed by Inda Blatch-Geib.

Tickets: FREE. $5 donation suggested.

Cleveland Public Theatre, 6415 Detroit Ave., Cleveland, OH 44102
