Sayed Kashua is an award-winning Arab–Israeli author and journalist born in Tira, Israel, who writes in Hebrew. Known for his anecdotal pieces that address the problems faced by Arabs in Israel, Kashua uses humor in his works across genres. He joins us to speak about his weekly column in the Israeli newspaper Ha’aretz and his hit TV show “Arab Labor” which addresses serious political and social issues through humor. A book signing follows the talk.
