From Mozart to Malloy: The West Shore Chorale's 50th Anniversary Concert
7:30 PM - 9:00 PM
The West Shore Chorale & Orchestra along with student singers from local high schools will present this celebration concert featuring Mozart’s Requiem and the World Premier of the newly commissioned, Dewdrops (A Requiem) by Dave Malloy. A Lakewood High School grad and former Chorale member, Dave is the Tony nominated composer of eleven musicals, including the hit Broadway electropop opera, Natasha, Pierre & the Great Comet of 1812. John Drotleff will conduct and a reception will follow. This concert is part of a 50th Anniversary weekend with Dave Malloy, including a free Meet the Composer session at noon on April 28 at Magnificat. Concert tickets are $15, students free.
